"How a sanctuary for self-expression can change lives / TED talk"

 For this blog I watched a TED talk that included a mother with a gay son, and a transgender woman. While watching the TED talk I never realized how scary and nerve raking it can be to feel the way the transgender women did. She talked about how she felt stuck especially with the social norms that we have in the world. I also wanted to add when the mother had quoted what her son had said, "I think I'm the only one like this," because I think this quote shows just how important it is for their to be more inclusivity and demonstration not only in schools but everywhere.
